Studio Sonda is the winner of two Red Dot Brands & Communication design Awards: for the new, this year inaugurated Ledo product King in a cup, and for the collection of short stories Authors’ Boras, created within the project Rijeka European Capital of Culture 2020.

With the latest two awards, Studio Sonda has reached number 15 Red Dot awards in total.

About Red Dot awards:
It has been awarded since 1955 and today it is considered one of the most influential awards in the world of design. As the organizers point out, the goal of the award is to evaluate the most ingenious design works from the fields of product design, communication, packaging, and all the way to the design of concepts and prototypes. The submitted works, which this year were 6,992, coming from various parts of the world, were judged by an international jury composed of 24 design and communication experts who were guided by the idea: “In search of good design and creativity”. They evaluate according to the following criteria:

  • Originality and creativity of the idea
  • Quality of design and innovation
  • Influence: Understanding and emotional reach with regard to the audience
