3 Grand Prix, 7 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze awards at Days of Communication
At the Zagreb version of the Communication Day (DK Home presented by A1), the leading marketing communication event in Croatia, the most important national awards for creativity and efficiency in advertising were presented on June 14 and 15: Ideja X, Mixx and Effie. In all three competitions, the Grand Prix was won by Studio Sonda from Vižinada for the work 100% Covid Free Journey for the City Library of Poreč, which offered citizens an alternative to travel during the COVID lockdown.
The Effie Award, as its name suggests, is usually given to the best agencies and advertisers for marketing communication and it measures the connection between marketing activities and market results – the efficiency. Whereas, MIXX is a competition that, under the IAB international license, rewards the best digital campaigns and digital tools/platforms in the field of marketing communications. In both awards, the criteria include the evaluation of creativity, strategy and results achieved. Ideja X, on the other hand, goes to the best creative achievements regardless of the type of media.
It follows that Studio Sonda managed to achieve the most creative, effective and digitally most relevant campaign in the country, and all that in 2020 which is known as the most difficult year in the past few decades, due to the COVID_19 virus situation.
In addition to the most important Grand Prix, Studio Sonda celebrated the awards for the projects King Cup for Ledo / Frikom, Berba (Bertoša wines), 100% COVID Free journey for the City Library of Poreč and #jedvačekam for HURA, in the following categories:
