B-Report: Sonda’s campaign the most awarded in Croatia
B-report is an annual review of Slovenian Marketing Magazin (MM), a platform specialized in the field of market communication in the region (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia). According to B-report statistics, which since 2015 publicly presents an annual overview of the most award-winning campaigns at national, regional, European and global advertising and creativity festivals, as well as exhibitions and competitions in the field of market communications, Studio Sonda’s campaign for Piquentum Sv. Vital: ‘Art directed by nature’ for the past 2019, is the third most awarded in the whole region and the first in Croatia. Thanks to this, Buzet Wine Cellar (Vinski Podrum Buzet) is the third most awarded advertiser in the region and the first in Croatia, placing one local winery on the sidelines of big advertisers like VipMobile or Pipi Beverages.
The B-report methodology is based on the following activities: the list of festivals and exhibitions is compiled in cooperation with creative directors, agency directors and advertisers in the region. The relevance of all festivals is evaluated each year and points are awarded according to the importance of the awards received. A place in the regional ranking is earned on the basis of awards won at regional, European and global festivals, events and contests. Awards at major local or national festivals are also taken into account for the formation of the national ranking. The 2019 Piquentum Campaign is known to have won some of the most important national (Idea X Grand Prix at Days of Communications), regional (Balcannes Best Campaign) and global (Cannes Lions Bronze) competitions.
First place in the region, according to the B-Report review, goes to McCann Belgrade’s “Ne odričem se” (“I Do Not Give Up”) campaign to raise awareness of violence and discrimination against LGBTI people (client: Da se zna) and the second place to the agency Leo Burnett also from Belgrade, for their campaign “Mame dobrodošle na svet” (“Moms welcome to the world”) ( client: VipMobile).
