Return yourself to the library is the concept developed for posters promoting the festival of used books Booktiga 2018., organized by the Poreč City Library. Since the exploitation of used in the libraries is best expressed by the constant re-borrowing of the same books, and the due date reminder stamped in the back of the book is a universal symbol of borrowing books, as such it represents the visual backbone of the concept. Moreover, the solution wants to go a step further in communication. Thus using the dates of all the festivals held so far, and clearly stressing this year’s date, it is said that not only borrowing and returning books to the library is important but also – returning ourselves too! The place of installation gives an added value to the poster: applied in various public situation it reminds of the importance of returning to books at a time when we are all very much occupied with other contents.
