A recognition for Sonda at the HDD’s 1718 exhibition
The exhibition of Croatian Design 1718, opened on 25th of October 2018 at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb, celebrates its tenth anniversary. It showcases the best Croatian design production within the past two years. The Croatian Designers Association has been organizing the biennial exhibition since 1999. In the 2018, the museum hosted 243 works made by professionals and students. During the exhibition, the awarding ceremony, which recognizes the best design works in individual exhibition categories, is also traditionally held. At the same time the Croatian Designers’ Grand Prize, the Ico-D Excellence Award and the HDD lifetime achievement awards are given as well.
Our Piquentum St.Vital collection 12/13/14 is the winner of the honorary recognition in the professional section – Packaging Design category. The decisions come from this year’s 1718 jurors panel: Dejan Dragosavac Ruta, Boris Greiner, Vedran Kasap, Ana Labudović, Mario Lončarić, Nika Pavlinek, Tomislav Mostečak, Slavimir Stojanović and Susan Sellers.
Congratulations to Damir Gamulin for the Grand Prize, to the art and design theoretician Matko Mestrovic for the HDD lifetime achievement award, to all the colleagues award winners in individual categories and to the others for the well-presented works. The exhibition will remain open until the 25th of November 2018.
