One of the most long-lasting and influential institutions which evaluates design and creative communication, the Red Dot Communication Award, has awarded Studio Sonda for two works related to the culture of the Istrian peninsula. The posters for Booktiga 2018, The Festival of used books, organized by the Porec City Library, headed by Director Irides Zović, and the project “Book that Saves Water” by author Elena Uljančić Vekić. Furthermore the Booktiga poster won even the Best of the Best prize and entered the Grand Prix nomination as the best in the category. Twenty-four international experts, members of the jury, selected these works among 8,600 from all over the world, and Red Dot’s Best of the Best enters a percentage of 0.7% of the best works among all the registered ones. The prize will be awarded at the ceremony at the Konzerthaus in Berlin, and then the works will be exhibited at the same venue. They will then be moved to the Museum for Communication Berlin where it will be possible to see them until January 13, 2019.
This is the 13th Red Dot award for Studio Sonda and the 2nd Red Dot Best Of The Best Award.
