We continue with the campaigns for the Pula Film Festival, the oldest Croatian film festival that delights visitors with its unique location, the one under the open sky of the Pula Arena. And this year, on the occasion of its 71st edition, we continue to involve the audience, one of the most important components of the festival, in the campaign itself.

Posters, billboards and other communication materials of the latest edition convey scenes from popular movies that, over the past 71 years of the festival’s existence, have been immortalized by the award for the best film by the audience. This is how we can recognize film classics such as “Vesna”, directed by František Čap, from 1954, “Special Education”, by Goran Marković, from 1977, or the film “How the war started on my island”, directed by Vinko Brešan, from 1996… until recent works such as “The Diary of Diana B.”, directed by Dana Budisavljević from 2019, and “Cvrčak i mravica” („The Cricket & Antoinette“), by Luka Rukavina, which was declared the best in 2023. The graphic design uses elements of the visual identity of the festival, which has been recognizable already for years and was developed also by Sonda. The main slogan of this year’s festival, “You choose the next one! See you in the audience!”, evokes the unbreakable bond between the audience, the film and the Arena and underlines the fact of how much the audience itself influences the course of the festival, both in the past and today.

See you in the audience!
